With 25 miles of shoreline and over 2,000 surface acres, Brady Lake offers outdoor enthusiasts boating, skiing, swimming, camping, fishing and relaxation. Facilities at Brady Lake include an enclosed marina, a fish house, a large covered pavilion, picnic areas, and restrooms/showers. Along with full and partial RV hook-ups, screened cabanas, and primitive campsites.
RICHARDS PARK
Relax and stay awhile
Richards Park is another jewel of Brady. The 44 acres of shaded green grass offer a wonderful setting for families to make memories. The city park has stunning well-built playground equipment set against a Brady Creek backdrop. This park features many picnic and camping areas with RV hookups. In addition to a covered pavilion, walking trail, and disc golf.
EARNEST O. MARTIN MEMORIAL PARK

Adjacent to Richards Park is the Earnest O Martin Memorial Park. This complex includes a pool with interactive play features, restroom facilities, a basketball court, volleyball court, shuffleboard court, washer & horseshoe courts, covered pavilions, play ground, a walking trail, and butterfly garden.
The walking trail leads to a beautifully landscaped garden area that features native plants for a picturesque backdrop. This small garden is a great place to enjoy a picnic in the company of local birds and butterflies.
KENNETH MEDLOCK GUN RANGE

Located just north of Brady Lake is the Kenneth Medlock Gun Range, which is the state headquarters for the Texas Muzzle Loaders Rifle Association.
BRADY MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE

Brady boasts a beautiful nine-hole, "Par 71" golf course with wonderful facilities, amenities, and history. The course provides competitors five bunkers and three water hazards with Live Oak Creek crossing the course in two places. Golfers and guests can enjoy daily or annual green fees, cart rental, and or storage.

Another great option is Richards Park. The fully shaded sites offer full RV hookups and is home to our biggest event of the year, The World Championship BBQ Goat Cook Off, that host over 200 cookers that camp for the weekend here! Both locations offer full restrooms, showers, picnic areas, along with covered pavilions.

Other areas of local interest include Bear Creek which is a great place to drop in a kayak or try your luck at fishing. Pebble Beach, is a local favorite for swimming and offers a nice shady area by the lake for those hot summer days. While you are exploring the lake, why not hit up some trails on the off-the-beaten-path and see what spots you can find around Brady Lake. If you head South on US-87, 13 miles outside of Brady, you can visit the San Saba River.
