If you want to enjoy the day or plan an extended stay, Brady Lake has a variety of recreational activities to explore that will offer big adventures in a small town setting. Here are some ways to enjoy your time at Brady Lake this Summer.



GET ON THE WATER

Get on the water and soak up the sun and fun. Entertain your adventurous side with water sports like boating and wakeboarding, or take your jet skis out and cruise Brady Lake. Visit the Lake Store across from the Lake for Paddleboard and kayak rentals if a scenic row on the water is more your tempo.



TAKE A SWIM AT THE BEACH


Cool off or chill out with a dip in the water at Brady Lake Park's beach area. The sandy shoreline makes this an ideal location for families to spend those warm summer days. If you visit during the off-season, this spot offers picturesque sunset views all year round.


PLAN A PICNIC OR FAMILY GATHERING

Central Texas offers excellent weather all year round for outdoor recreation. Spring and fall are prime seasons to plan a memorable picnic with that special someone or host a family Bar-B-Que at Brady Lake Park. Many shaded picnic areas are scattered throughout, some with pits in place, and the large covered pavilion is perfect for large gatherings.






STAY AWHILE

Experience camping with a view and lake access steps away from your site; no matter your style of outdoor lodging, Brady Lake offers several options suited for all types of camping. This park has12 RV hookups near the water and other hookups in the Pavilion area. In addition to five tent sites, three primitive campsites,14 screened cabanas, and a place for long-term stays. Facilities include restrooms with showers.





FISH THE DAY AWAY

Find excellent fishing opportunities around Brady Lake. Predominant fish include Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, and White Crappie. While Channel catfish can be caught year-round, early spring is the best fishing time for Bass since this is their spawning season. The Marina features a covered fish house that is perfect when looking for a comfortable spot to drop a line in.

Explore off-road, lakeside trails and discover native plants and wildlife. During the spring, the wildflowers are plentiful with vibrant colors that would make a rainbow jealous. With abundant wildlife around every turn, you are sure to catch a glimpse of native insects, deer, birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
