About the event

50th Annual World Championship BBQ Goat Cook Off 

Event Date August 31st 2024

  • Get ready for a full lineup of cooking teams, live music, activities, and more on Saturday, August 31st and at Richards Park in Brady, Texas. 
  • Set up will be on Friday, August 30th from 2:00-5:00pm. Hours on Friday will be from 6:00-9:00pm (during the Welcome Dance.) Vendors must be open on  Saturday, August 31st at 10:00am until the awards ceremony is over. Set up must be done by 5:00pm on Friday with all vehicles moved to the vendor parking lot.  Late setup will not be allowed under any circumstance.

Returning Vendor Registration is Open 03/04/2024 (9AM) - 03/28/2024 (4PM): 

Returning Vendors must select last year's spot if registering early. Selection of another returning vendor spot during this time will result in immediate removal from the event with no refunds. If you would like a different spot or to add an additional spot, you will need to wait until new vendor registration opens, and space is not guaranteed since it is a first come, first serve registration process.

New Vendor Registration is Open 04/01/2024 (9AM)

Registration is only open for new vendors during this time. Once returning vendors have reserved their returning spaces new vendors may register and registration for new vendors before the opening date will forfit your entry into the event and a refund will not be issued.

  1. Arts & Crafts Vendor Costs are as follows: 10x10 Space: $100 
  2. Food Vendor Costs are as follows: 10x20 Space: $100 (must include a goat related item. No alcoholic beverage sales are permitted)
  3. Concert Food Vendor Costs are as follows: 10x20 Space: $100- No electric or water provided for these spaces. Food Vendors in the park may not relocate to these spots. (Must include a goat related item. No alcoholic beverage sales are permitted) 

Please remember if your set up will be bigger than the 10x10 or 10x20 space you MUST get more than one spot. Each space is measured and not fitting into those spaces interferes with your neighbors.
