2024 Cooker Registration - World Championship BBQ Goat Cook Off

Returning Cooker registration ends on March 28, 2024 at 5 PM

New Cooker registration begins online on April 1st at 9 AM - This is a first come first serve process if there are any available cooker spots following returning cooker registration. There is no waiting list held at the Brady Chamber office. 

2024 GCO CHANGES

ALL PAST SUPER BOWL WINNERS OF THE GOAT COOKOFF ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER INTO THE SUPER BOWL DIVISION AS A SIDE COMPETITION FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $100. THE SUPER BOWL SIDE IS AN OPTION FOR PAST WINNERS. SUPER BOWL WINNER PAYOUT WILL BE BASED ON HOW MANY SUPER BOWL COOKERS THERE ARE. SUPER BOWL WINNERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN BOTH COMPETITIONS IF ADDITIONAL FEE IS SELECTED & FEE IS PAID.

• IF ANY COOKER OR SECONDARY SPACE IS SELECTED OTHER THAN YOUR TEAM'S SPOT NUMBERS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR, YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, AND NO REFUNDS GIVEN. 
• ONLY ONE PRIMARY SPOT CAN BE REGISTERED PER ORDER.
• ALL SIDE COOK-OFFS AND ANY ADDITIONAL ITEMS MUST BE ADDED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION OF YOUR RETURNING SPOTS. ANY ADD ON'S OR SIDE COOK-OFFS ADDED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOUR PAYMENT WILL BE REFUNDED. 
• ALL RESERVATION FEES AND AD ONS ARE PROCESSED ONLINE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION BY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS ONLY.

50th Annual World Championship BBQ Goat Cook Off - August 31st 2024

We’re excited to have all of you back for the 50th Annual World Championship BBQ Goat Cook Off to be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Richards Park in Brady, Texas.

This year’s COOKING portion of the event is ONE DAY. Don’t worry, though, we still have a full schedule lined up for Saturday! Please read the full details and rules below before registering for your returning spots.

RIBS MUST BE PORK SPARE RIBS AND PROVIDED BY COOKERS. ALL PAST WINNERS OF THE GOAT COOKOFF ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO ENTER THE SUPER BOWL DIVISION. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE REGULAR DIVISION OF THE COOKOFF. IN ADDITION, EACH TEAM WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SUBMIT ONE GOAT ENTRY PER HEAD CHEF.

If you have multiple campsites, you must pay the total registration price of $250 for your primary campsite but are able to pay a discounted price for your secondary campsites ($150). You will be able to purchase additional halves of goat if you’d like, but each head chef will only have ONE tray to submit their entry to the judges.

Your 2024 campsite number is listed on the event map. Please select your primary campsite number and any secondary sites from the previous year that you would like to keep. Selection of any other site other than last year will result in immediate removal from the Goat Cook Off. Additionally, at the time of checkout, you will need to add any other add-on items, such as early arrival, additional side cook-off categories, and additional wristbands (4 are included with registration of your cooker site). You will not be able to add side cook-offs, discounted wristbands, early arrival, or additional shirts after completing your online registration. Any orders placed outside of your site registration will be cancelled and refunded. 

Your registration fee includes an overnight stay in Richards Park from Friday, August 30th thru Sunday, September 1st.  If you plan to arrive early, select the single day add on for Thursday arrival only or 2-day add on for Wednesday & Thursday arrival dates. If you have more than 1 spot you will need to select this for each spot that will need an early arrival, one purchase can not apply for multiple spots. In order to effectively monitor early arrivals, this fee must be paid even if you are only setting up trailers and/or dropping off cooking rigs.
